Habitat: Found on tree base/tree roots
Location: Nelson Ledges
Description: Appears to look like Velcro, very rough and hard leaves

Key Steps: 4 Narrow, 6 Mat, 7 Tree Bases and Tree Roots, 8 Light. Found the picture that best suits the sample I have.

  1. You need to use more specific terms; is it pleurocarpous or acrocarpous? What is the leaf shape? Is there a costa? Etc.., Keying is incomplete. Also you need some microscopic pictures of the leaves to support your identification.
